Exploring The Benefits of Being a Federal Skilled Worker

Immiend December 23, 2022 0 Comments

Canada is one of the most favored destinations for immigrants. The country provides huge opportunities for immigrants to move in and work there. Canada’s Federal Skilled Worker program is one of them.

Canada express entry is a comprehensive ranking system that selects eligible candidates to apply for Canadian immigration. IRCC uses the point-based system to assess a profile and rank them in the express entry pool.

The program helps immigrants to make applications for permanent residency. Applications for the federal skilled worker class are processed through Canada express entry points calculator.

The selection is made on a point system where you need to score a minimum of 67 points out of a total of 100. However, the scheme demands your occupation fall under the “skilled occupation list” of Canada in order to be eligible to take up the test.

The express entry federal skilled worker class category is intended for people with a high level of skills and experience that can be economically beneficial in Canada. The skilled workers can apply for permanent residency and should qualify based on their work experience, education, knowledge of French or/and English, and other criteria.

Successful applicants can have a permanent residence visa, and they are entitled to stay and work in the lands of maple trees and waterfalls without any restrictions.

Benefits of FSWP

Canada PR Federal Skilled Worker visa allows you to work in Canada without the need to be sponsored by an employer, a Canadian work permit, or a job offer.

Successful applicants are free to work without any constraints/restrictions, unlike in a work permit. Applicants can apply for Canadian citizenship once they complete three years of stay in the country.

Once people get their citizenship and Canadian Passport, they can travel internationally without a visa.

They can also sponsor their immediate family members and relatives to join them there.

Permanent residency comprises access to healthcare, government-subsidized education, unrestricted access to Canada’s labor market, pension benefits, and associated insurance.

People can get their PR visas in 6-12 months instead of the earlier scheme of 3+ years. If the application is returned, the High Commission automatically refunds your fees.
